THE BALANCED CANINE DFW, LLC, IS FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED AND WAS FOUNDED IN 2016. LOCATED ON THE MORRIS FAMILY PROPERTY IN MIDLOTHIAN, TEXAS, OUR FACILITY OFFERS SPACIOUS KENNELS (4'X4'X6' AND 4'X'6'X6'), CENTRAL HEAT AND AIR, 24-HOUR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE, LOCKED GATES, AND 1/2-ACRE PLAY YARD. THE FACILITY IS ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN AND SANITIZED. WE SPECIALIZE IN BASIC DOG OBEDIENCE, WHICH INCLUDES, "SIT, STAY, DOWN, PLACE, AND COME WHEN CALLED." WE ALSO RESOLVE BEHAVIOR ISSUES, SUCH AS EXCESSIVE BARKING AND SEPARATION ANXIETY. OUR TRAINING TOOLS INCLUDE A REMOTE-COLLAR FROM E-COLLAR TECHNOLOGIES THAT USES LOW-LEVEL STIMULATION AND A HERM-SPRENGER PRONG COLLAR. BOTH PRODUCTS ARE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE AIDS FOR DOG TRAINING AND ARE

OUTDATED- Very nice phone experience, but they didn't ever pick up again after that first call and they don't call back when you leave voicemails. Tried 4 times. EDIT 6/7: After scheduling a consult in person, I can say that Matt is one of the sweetest and most receptive dog trainers in the area. The phone issue was due to a combination of misunderstanding and technical difficulty, and when we met in person after going through the proper channels, the experience was fantastic. He's very experienced and I trust him with our ragamuffin far more than anyone else I spoke to.
Our Liesl came home having learned such good doggie manners. We also received great training to help our red zone pup and continuous follow-up and support. I highly recommend Matt.
Matt trained our dog several years ago and she’s still so obedient and easy to have around. Worth every penny!

We had the BEST experience using Matt and his team in training our sheepadoodle, Cappie. We continue to lean on Matt for expert advice from time to time, as well. We also brought another sheepadoodle into our pack, a re-home from another client of Matt’s. Such an amazing experience when your trusted trainer knows you and your dog, and who will and won’t be a “good fit” together. We cannot thank them enough! Max & Cappie both love Matt, and we never worry when our “doods” are in their care.
