We reached out to Joe @ The Bark Stop after adopting Bowie, a sweet Brittany with some situational anxiety who needed a bit of Dog 101. At the time, Bowie was pretty skeptical of new people, but within the first hour Joe and Bowie were best buds. We signed up for a series of private sessions where Joe helped Bowie build confidence in new environments, and taught us the tools to improve his behavior at home. As icing on the cake, Joe worked with us to board Bowie for a weekend when we had to do some last minute travel, and from all the pictures and videos he sent, you could tell Bowie had an absolute BLAST. It was so nice leaving Bowie with someone he trusted. Communication was excellent. Highly recommended.

Joe and The Bark Stop have gone way above my expectations. I recently became a father to a cute, sassy puppy, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to train her properly. Joe was great! He was very patient with both me and my dog (turns out half of dog training is owner training). He addressed my concerns about my dogs barking and helped craft a plan to correct her behavior. After we fixed my dogs behavior we had some extra time and we even got to teach her a few tricks! If your looking for a great dog trainer that will assess your dog and come up with a custom plan for your pup Joe is definitely your guy!
