The Barking Lot

Shean and Tanner (the owners) are the absolute best (and the rest of the staff). They are very professional, understanding, respectful, and unbelievably kind. They not only care about your dog when you drop your pup off, but they also care about you. They go above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about these guys and the business they have created. If you are hesitant with starting to bring your dog to daycare, or have had bad experiences in the past, The Barking Lot is different. I would give them 10/5⭐️ if I could. I tell everyone about The Barking Lot because they are the absolute best. I am so thankful for them!

We have been bringing our dog, Mac, here for about two years, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! From the very beginning, they have treated Mac like he is one of their own, and it has become his true second home. ❤️ The amount of love, care, and attention they give him is something we are incredibly grateful for. It is so comforting to know that whenever we leave Mac with them, he is not only safe and well taken care of, but genuinely loved. They know him, understand his personality, and always go above and beyond to make sure he is happy and comfortable. The staff has been so generous, kind, and accommodating, and you can tell that they truly care about the dogs they look after. Mac gets so excited to go, which says everything! Knowing that he has a place where he feels loved, welcomed, and at home means the world to us. We are so thankful we found this daycare and the amazing people who care for Mac. We wouldn’t trust him with anyone else! If you’re looking for a place where your dog will be treated like family, we cannot recommend them enough. 🐾❤️

We can’t say enough good things about The Barking Lot in Spokane Valley. We have boarded Hera with them a couple of times now and she loves it (especially the pool). Our usually anxious pup has come home happy (and tired!!) each time she has gone. All of the staff members we have met are absolutely wonderful! You can tell they are concerned about the well-being of the animals in their care. It is such a relief to have a great place to take her that is so close to home. Thank you for taking such good care of our Floof!

The staff at The Barking Lot were incredible. I showed up with my two dogs in a crisis as I was evacuated in the recent wildfires. I was running out of options of where to go with my dogs. They took them in at a moment’s notice with no questions asked. I was allowed to go visit my dogs as often as I wanted. I could see that they had a great time and were very well cared for. After six days, my evacuations lifted and I was able to go pick up my dogs. The owner refused to charge me for their stay. I was at a loss for words for his kindness and compassion during one of the scariest times of my life. I will definitely bring my dogs back here and recommend it to everyone I know.
