A friend of mine recommended The Barking Lot for my Boxer Dolly, to burn off some extra energy. He was so pleased with the place that I didn’t hesitate at all and scheduled a tour. I was totally impressed with this brand new facility. It was spotless! There are huge indoor and outdoor play areas. The dogs were having fun playing ball and climbing on a miniature gym set. I took Dolly in a couple days later and she came home happy and tired as heck. The staff is very professional and gave me a full verbal report of how her day went. Needless to say she had a blast and was a perfect lady. You’ll love to bring your dog here …. I promise.

Thank you to The Barking Lot animal kennel for taking such great care of my foster GSD! He was there for 2 weeks over the holidays and received such great care. He was matched with dogs of similar size, termperment and play style so he was not kept in a kennel but spent much of the day playing with his new friends, with play breaks and night time kenneling. Had he not played well with others, they were totally prepared to care for him and would keep him separate and well exercised with lots of attention. There was/is an supervising and experienced trainer on site, 24/7/365 which was a great comfort to me. They have cameras in all the animal areas so that the 24/7/365 on (and off) site staff can monitor the animals from lobby, kennel area, play areas, to the on site bedroom where dogs can sleep with the supervisor when arranged. The Barking Lot is family owned and staffed, with all staff experienced and competent in working with the animals, dogs, puppies, cats, amphibians, etc. This kennel was the first I have been comfortable with in years and my foster GSD absolutely loved his stay. When I visited, he was happy to see me and then happy to go back to playing and interacting with his playmates and the staff. Kenneling my foster GSD over the holidays with The Barking Lot was a great experience. They have doggy day care and will be offering board and train and group and individual training classes in 2025.

I had the pleasure of accompanying a friend to drop off her rescue foster for boarding yesterday. I was so impressed with the facility. The set up is incredible. It is family owned and the family is amazing! They are not only very knowledgeable about dog's needs and behaviors but they are truly passionate about animals. If you are needing to board your pet or looking for a doggie daycare The Barking Lot is THE place to go.

Very cool doggy daycare set up! Great big indoor area to play and a turf area outside. Only a couple friends to play with so far as they’ve only been open a week but my puppies had a good time!
