I have a 3 months and one week old puppy and he is licking everything... excessively. What to do

Well, there are many reasons this could be happening...I wish there was an easy thing I could tell you. It could be a medical issue, it could be he hasn't been taught not to yet...at 3 months old puppy classes are really really important. I would highly recommend them. Veterinary Behaviorists say that the most important thing you can do for the life of your puppy is get him into a well run puppy class. We also help with being individual behavior issues, so we could see the licking or ask more questions or observe and make a much better educated answer for you with solutions. We have a 6 month Shepard mix. He needs help with jumping and listening. Do you offer classes and what would the cost be. I am thinking of giving the classes as a gift.

Hi, Karla! Sounds like he'd be perfect for the Impulse Control class! Very reasonably priced, only $125 for 6 hours of training.

Dawn, I am very sorry you are unhappy. I did send you a long email, even offering some free playdates for your puppies to see if that would help. Like I explained in the email I am not sure what exactly happened. Beki, the secretary you spoke with, said she didn't know that you were at the emergency veterinary hospital. Beki once had a client call and and was headed to the emergency vet, and she took the clients number home and called them multiple times. We spend our entire lives dedicated to animals, so to say "just be very hesitant of them" isn't fair, especially when your complaint wasn't about our training. You wanted your money back and we don't give refunds after class has started, which is in the rules and regulations form that you signed. I truly was trying to make this better for you. We will do anything to help any human and dog, and I can say very honestly that everyone at The Canine Campus would go above and beyond for anyone. We always try to give people MORE than they ever expected. I am sorry that you aren't happy, and I am sorry that you felt the need to leave a bad review. There is a credit on your account for however you would like to use it. That can be in products, in classes, or seminars/webinars or any special function. I wish we could have chatted and come to a better outcome. -Katie Costello, Owner
