FirstBarkManuela is a great trainer. We have a boxer and as most people know they are pretty wild dogs. She had shown us how to train him with impulse control, walking, tips on different types of food and treats (good and bad). We like most, watched YouTube videos about training but she has a lot of experience and trained Buck and us from bad habits! Thank you Manuela!

Manuela is amazing. We did the private AKC Good Citizen training with our two dogs and I can't be more happy with the results, she not only trained them she also taught us so much about animal behavior in the process. Well worth the time and price!

Manuela is amazing!! My dog is reactive to people and animals only if I'm around, if I'm not in the room she loves people and other animals. When I say reactive, I mean she lunges, snarls, tries to bite...she ges nasty. But since she only did it when I was around (resource guarding me) then I was the one that needed to train her. I was increasingly frustrated because everyone I called wanted to do, at minimum, 6 week board and train which made no sense to me since she only does it if I'm around, so how would training her when I'm not around work? I finally found Manuela, who was referred to me by a local rescue, and she trains THE OWNER how to train the dog which is exactly what I was looking for! The games she assigns are amazing, they help with bonding, build the dogs confidence, and it's FUN training instead of both you and the dog getting frustrated with miscommunication. She also helps you actually understand the inner workings of a dog's mind so that it is easier to understand what your dog is seeing through their eyes and to help them work through things. My first session, my dog barked the ENTIRE time and was reactive. I went home with a deeper understanding of my furbaby and a lot of "homework" to work on. We did the work and by the second session, she barked initially, but then settled within a few minutes, was listening and following commands. Manuela was able to move around the room, squeak toys, throw around balls, etc and no reactivity from my dog. My dog got to the point where she even was able to be led around the room and even came up to the assistant and sniffed their leg and moved on like it was no big deal! There's still work to be done, but she is worlds better from just 2 sessions. The other thing I absolutely LOVE is she is all about the positive reinforcement. No shock collars, no e-collars, etc. And yes, a dog CAN learn without those! I absolutely hands down will continue to sing her praises and as long as you put in the work, her methods work! I've added a pic of our reactivity training, it's so laid back and enjoyable
Amazing trainer, Manuela helped us a ton with our reactive Great Dane. She also provided great resources and really went above and beyond what we would have expected from a trainer!
