The Canine Coach - West St Paul

As a lifelong dog owner, I always quietly struggled with "training" my pups — mostly in that as long as they went to the bathroom outside, didn't really destroy anything inside, and still liked me, I thought I was content. The Canine Coach — specifically Tami (Puppy Training & Socialization) and Raina (Boot Camp) — changed all that with our puppy, Ursa. Our initial trepidation about "training" were quelled, like, Day 1. The trainers and staff are so positive and attentive to both our pup and to her parents. Every time Ursa came home from class or boot camp she was more confident, responsive to verbal and hand cues, and social with new (friendly) dogs. And the check-ins and instructions for how to continue the work at home are so user friendly, even a dope like me can do them. I was worried that "obedience school" would turn our pup into an automaton, instead it's brought out the absolute best in Ursa (and us). I can't recommend their puppy programs highly enough.

My Irish Terrier has been going to WSP Canine Coach since she was 12 weeks old and she just turned one on March 2nd. Starting with a group puppy socialization class to puppy boot camp, then puppy agility I have appreciated all the trainers and staff for their energy, knowledge and dedication to each dog’s learning and wellbeing! During the winter I enrolled Rory in drop in camp and currently their Fit Dog program to help her stay active and socially engaged during our unpredictable weather. The programs offered are varied and fun for all stages of a dog’s development. The facility has a large outdoor and indoor area full of equipment used during training. The dogs are safe, well cared for and known personally by the entire staff. I am thrilled to have such an affordable, well thought out well run dog training program so close to home. Always look forward to seeing which classes Rory will try next.
