The Canine Code

I cannot say enough good things about The Canine Code. We trusted Christine with our rescue dog, Ruthie, who was shy, timid, and a bit of a flight risk. Christine worked with her for two weeks and instilled a ton of confidence and new skills in Ruthie. She can now walk off leash by our side and always comes when called. That peace of mind was well worth the training. I highly recommend this trainer!

I enrolled my dog, Freya, in Christine‘s board and train program to address some serious reactivity issues, and the results exceeded my expectations. Before training, Freya would bark, lunge and become overwhelmed around other dogs. I was very hesitant to commit to a three week program, never having been away from my dog, but Christine kept me updated with videos and texts every day. By the end of the program, Freya was noticeably calmer, more confident, and able to walk past triggers with far less stress. I was impressed by how structured and well designed the program was, and how Freya easily joined Christine‘s pack of well-balanced dogs. I would recommend Christine wholeheartedly for any training or reactivity issues.

The Canine Code is hands down the best boarding training experience I could’ve asked for!!! They took such incredible care of my dog, always sending videos and pictures so I felt connected throughout the process. Before training, she was extremely stubborn and difficult to walk, which made it hard to enjoy time outdoors with her. But in just two weeks, she completely transformed. She now listens to every command, walks beautifully on leash and off leash, and I can confidently take her anywhere—even to work! What truly sets The Canine Code apart is not just the results, but how genuinely happy and well cared for my dog was the entire time. Even after training ended, they’ve continued to be available for questions and support, which shows how much they care about long-term success. I honestly can’t thank this amazing team enough. They’ve made a life-changing difference for both me and my dog!
