If you know anything about Airedales, you know they can be a handful. They are very smart dogs but don't have a huge desire to please. They prefer to do their own thing! Both of my Airedales were trained at The Collar Club - one was 18 months old and the other was 7 years old at the time. Previously to training, they were a nightmare to walk together. If we encountered other dogs or even people - their lunging was unbearable. They spent a few weeks at The Collar Club and I was literally in tears when I saw their progress. I can walk them with ease, put them in a stay position for as long as I deem necessary and overall, we are able to have so much fun doing so many more things together because of how well-behaved they are. Nikki is so knowledgeable and patient with the dogs. And when they get an opportunity to see her now, they run with joy into the building and can't wait to see her. That tells me, it was a wonderful experience for them. I highly recommend these folks!

Nikki personally delivered both dogs, working with me on commands. Now, they're a joy to be around – no barking, polite entrances, and flawless leash behavior. Anyone who knew my dogs before could not believe the amazing transformation. If you are hesitating and thinking it won’t work for your dogs, DON’T. They are the best! If we could give more stars to The Collar Club Academy we would! Prior to going to The Collar Club Academy, we sent our dog to another board and train for three weeks and it didn’t seem to do much, so we decided to fly to Dallas and try The Collar Club Academy. It was the best investment we have ever made in our dog because now we have a well-balanced family member. Nikki is an incredible trainer that truly cares. She even flew with our dog back to California to transition him into our home and to train us. He is a completely new dog that is so well behaved - we don’t have to worry anymore about his food aggression, or nipping, or worry that he might snap at our kids. We 100% recommend The Collar Club Academy and saw for ourselves the difference between an experienced trainer like Nikki vs. other training programs that really don’t solve and change poor dog manners and behavior. A++++ for Nikki and her team!

Nikki and her crew go well beyond the basic sit, shake, etc. The difference in our girl between when she came to us and where she is now at 1 years old is amazing to say the least.
It’s not cheap having your dog trained but neither is replacing your furniture or worse.

We sent our two big dogs to The Collar Club Academy for the 6-week board and train, and have been blown away with the results. We are now able to take them into all public areas with ease, and have had great experiences out and about, and even on restaurant patios. Highly recommend this team!
