The Coventry School Inc

My dog has been attending classes at Coventry since 2022. She has participated in Kranky K9s, rally, tricks, trally, treibball, and nose work and has loved all of her classes. Going to school is the highlight of her week! Liz and the staff use positive training techniques based on their up to date knowledge of dog behavior and extensive experience. This has us helped us build a strong relationship with our dog who was adopted as an adult and had reactivity issues, and it has enabled my dog to develop much needed confidence as she interacts with other people, dogs, and her environment. They closely observe each dog and customize their plan and approach so that every dog can have a positive learning experience.

The staff and owner of Coventry School are exceptional and caring people. My dog recently had a medical concern while at doggie daycamp. Kala, Jon and Lauren swung into action and immediately addressed Tova's needs. Lauren and Kala transported Tova to VEG Er, Elkrige, where they remained unitl I arrived. They stayed with me until I insisted they leave. Liz (owner) arrived a short time later to offer support. In my mind they went above and beyond and I am SO grateful to them all. This is my first experience with a dog camp/training program. I could not have picked a MORE perfect facility. Thank you Liz and Vinnie for creating an unprecedented center for all our dogs.

My Hilo has gone to Coventry for camp and training, and I genuinely cannot recommend them enough. Their puppy camp hugely impacted his ability to positively interact with other dogs despite being the size of a runaway moose. One thing that I love is that they break their campers up into groups based on size and play style, so everyone gets to have a good time the whole time. We've done the classes Puppy Kindergarten and Jumpstart. The trainers are hands on and FANTASTIC. They provide great resources, and set you up with the tools you need to build a quality relationship with your dog. Hilo was excited to go to class every Saturday and still gets happy and wiggly whenever he sees them. We plan to do more in the future. When he had issues with crate anxiety, Coventry worked with us to develop a long-term solution. Liz took the time to really understand our situation and Hilo, and offered constructive advice that has led to him crating comfortably at home. He continues to get better with it every week. You won't find a better daycamp or training class in MD 🩵
