Focused on building a strong foundation of Basic Obedience I specialize in training puppies and dogs to fit into your lifestlye!
I approach training different than most - I use all praise and no treats thus resulting in your dog listening to YOU and not performing commands for food!
I can train your dog to do anything you need but my emphasis is giving you the best trained dog in the neighborhood.
One that walks nicely, performs each command on the first attempt, doesn't jump on your guests and comes off leash when called on the first command!

We rescued two puppies - mini Aussies who are a bit high strung.. A friend recommended Jimmy and I'm so glad she did. While we were reluctant at first as we weren't keen to be separated from them for so long, it is exactly what was needed to get them where we needed to be. The results are amazing and the lessons we received as doggo parents were invaluable to ensure all the training stuck. Jimmy truly cares about dogs and we had complete peace of mind leaving them with him. We already had the pups do another refresher as so convenient to board them at Jimmy's family's facility when we had a vacation. Great results - we highly recommend Jimmy. He is dedicated to results and sets a high bar for himself and the dogs in his care.

Jimmy is a pro! We sent our 4 month old Golden Retriever for three weeks of training and Jimmy did a great job! Leash training, general commands, and swimming!! We can’t recommend Jimmy’s work enough.

Jimmy is an outstanding trainer! Between myself and my family, he has trained 4 of our dogs. He recently trained my two dogs Jesse and Sloan, and they have come home extremely well trained. He listened to the individual concerns for each dog and worked with each of them to meet their specific needs. Additionally, he works with the owners so we understand how to continue to work with our dogs so they don’t lose their skills. He really goes above and beyond! If you need help with dog training, Jimmy is your guy!!

Jimmy was fantastic with our dog during his board and stay. We used to dread taking our dog for walks because of his constant pulling and barking at people and other dogs. Now, he walks calmly by our side, and when we tell him to sit and stay, he remains composed as people and dogs pass by. Our dog is learning to relax and find his calm, and we can't thank Jimmy enough for his help.

I signed up my 4.5 year old golden doodle for training at the crafty pup after my friend used him and recommended Jimmy. After a little over 3 weeks of training, my dog went from reactive, leash pulling, barking at guests to a calm, wanting to please happy dog 😊
I feel my relationship with my dog is better and we now have calmer walks and a happy, quiet home.
