The Crafty Pup Dog Training

Highly recommend Jimmy at The Crafty Pup!! We heard about Jimmy from a friend that had used him multiple times to train her dog and had said great things about him. We had Jimmy board and train our highly energetic 11 month old golden retriever for three weeks. Our pup learned a lot in those 3 weeks and became better at heel, sit, stay, sit stay, down, down stay, and come. A major bonus is that our high energy dog had calmed down! When we picked up our dog, Jimmy showed my kids and I how to properly walk our dog and use verbal commands. He was so patient and kind with them. Since then, we have been enjoying going on family walks with our trained dog! Our now 15 month old dog is currently doing a one week refresher board and train with Jimmy. I love all the photos and videos Jimmy sends me updating me on how my dog is doing! My dog seems to really enjoy his time with Jimmy and you can tell that Jimmy loves being around the dogs!

It's been a true joy working with and learning from Jim's expertise. Jim has crafted training and obedience into a simple science that works, was thorough and patient with frequent updates and follow-ups, and demystified many of the myths and concerns I admittedly believed about training tools and methods. I came to Jim with my highly intelligent but headstrong, restless, and overexcitable 11 month old German Shepherd after months of attempting to navigate an oversaturated social media landscape of confusing and conflicting dog training advice. After almost 5 weeks in a board & train with Jim, my pup is almost unrecognizably more confident, calm, and obedient. I thought that such a long program would affect our bond, but now that we can effectively communicate with each other, me and my pup have an even more amazing bond with each other. My pup and I are so thankful for what we've gained from training with Jim and are excited to learn even more.

We cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and Crafty Pup! We boarded and trained our dog while on vacation and then we had some training sessions afterward. Jimmy was very patient, kind and knowledgeable. We are so pleased with the results and our dog seems so much happier and content. And honestly, we are calmer because he gave us the tools we needed and showed us what were the best techniques to use. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in training there pup!! Jimmy is awesome!!
