The Cultured Canine

I sent my dog to do the board and train with The Cultured Canine to reinforce basic obedience but also to help build her confidence and reduce her anxiety around new situations and people. She's been home for just over a week now and I have seen a lot of improvement. She is much better and listening to commands and does a great job watching me for cues. She is still a bit nervous at times, but much less reactive than she used to be. I look forward to continuing to work with The Cultured Canine team on her training.

Amazing! My Lizzie German shepherd pup was unable to stay in crate without barking for hours on end. She also started to jump up and nip anytime she was on a leash. At 4 1/2 months old it was impossible to take her anywhere on a leash. Lizzie stayed at board and train and came back a different pup! Lucas did an amazing job! She now walks on a leash without pulling (and obviously without nipping). She is no longer running the house tearing everything up. She is much calmer and able to be let out of crate without running wild. Thanks to Lucas and the cultured canine team!!!

The Cultured Canine has worked magic on our two 2 year old pit mixes, Perry and Clementine. Before training, they were extremely reactive dogs, especially when it came to “protecting” the house. Their fear-aggression would result in biting or trying to bite anyone we had over to the house. We tried at-home training tactics and YouTube videos, but they still had behavioral problems that we could not solve on our own. After a consultation with Lucas, we agreed on the 5 week board and train program. Lucas and Megan worked wonders for both of them! We waited eagerly for the pictures and weekly progress reports that they would send so we could see the improvement our pups were making. Clementine was much slower to make progress than Perry, but Lucas offered to extend training (at no additional cost) for the both of them to ensure our dogs fully benefited from their training. The team at The Cultured Canine returned two dogs that walk beautifully on a leash, no longer jump on tables and counters, come when called, and obey a number of other valuable commands. They have learned, and are still learning, to ignore distractions around the house like critters in the yard and visitors that come to the house. The Cultured Canine has given us the knowledge we needed to continue their training at home. We can’t thank them enough for the impact they’ve had on our lives.
