FirstBarkCarolyn is a great trainer. If you follow her lead and do your homework you’ll have one of the most well behaved and enjoyable pets around! Highly recommended.

I have worked with Carolyn with two dogs. She had an amazing ability to train ME - which allowed me to work better with my dogs. I use the lessons and tool she shared every day. I will add that my dogs are high energy working dogs who love to hunt and explore - but are also obedient and pleasant around others because of her instruction. STRONGLY RECOMMEND

The Developing Canine changed my life. Carolyn worked with me and Teddy, my giant pitbull/bulldog baby, from the time he was 8 months old until he was 10 months old. In just 10 weeks, my relationship with him TRANSFORMED. He went from completely unmanageable, wild, and impossible to keep indoors, to being a responsive, engaged, non-reactive, joyful presence in our home. He's still as playful and energetic as ever, but thanks to Carolyn's training, I'm now able to communicate with him and let him know when his behavior is unwelcome, and he responds readily to direction and correction. I've even had neighbors comment on how well behaved and gentle he is- something I truly could not have imagined ANYONE saying about him just a few short months ago! Carolyn's teaching changed Teddy, but more importantly, it changed ME. I feel equipped to handle Teddy- and any other dogs in our family- now or in the future. Cannot recommend The Developing Canine enough!
