My fiancé and I are raising a 2 y/o long hair German shepherd named Parker. The best decision we’ve ever made was working with Dom. Parker has always been high energy & lacked a little focus which inevitably lead to some reactivity and over protection of us, and an increase in our anxiety with him. Working with Dominic really changed how we live with Parker and we are now able to give him the best life possible in city. We went from struggling on walks to completely off leash in the park, incredible behavior change & just overall happier pup which makes us happy! We have entered a new chapter of enjoying being dog parents, and we give that credit to Dom and the work we’ve all done together.

I reached out to Dominik after adopting a three-year-old mini dachshund that had been raised in the countryside. Adjusting to city life with all of its inherent chaos was challenging for Bibi and ended up causing anxiety, reactivity, and what Dominik helped me realize was resource guarding of me. Dominik was the second trainer I tried, and after an initial pack of six sessions and some one-off tune-ups, I cannot recommend him enough. He was patient with Bibi and, more importantly, me, teaching us both the tools we need to stay calm and concentrated in both everyday life and higher-stress moments. I could not have been more proud of Bibi when I had a handyman come to the apartment the other day. Her initial instinct was to bark at him and defend her space, but I immediately put into practice our training, sending her to her “place” and rewarding her accordingly. She stayed focused on me from there on out, ignoring the man as he worked and almost forgetting he was there. Truly incredible! It’s obviously only as effective as the amount of practice you put in and we still have some work to do, but we are so far from where we started!

We had a great experience with Dominik. After meeting our pup he promptly set up a game plan that helped us address our dog’s leash reactivity and resource guarding issues. If you’re willing to put in consistent work the results will absolutely come with time. Dominik is an expert at what he does, and he’s easy to learn from. We would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their dog’s behavior.
