Dog training is so much more than training the dog! Each dog is an individual and so is each person which means that we all learn and communicate differently. The challenge as a dog trainer is to transfer my knowledge, skills and success to you and your canine companion in a way that makes sense to both of you.
Sure, I know a lot about dogs and their behavior as do many others. However, all of that knowledge is useless if I fail to communicate it properly to those needing guidance. My goal is to teach the people how to teach the dog. People are the most important factor in a dog's ongoing positive or negative behavior. So, let's communicate and start training!

Just completed 2 training sessions with Ed at Dog Boss and I couldn’t be happier with his approach, guidance and results! The questionnaire was very detailed, he came prepared and was focused on making the training work for our house, our dog and our specific concerns. ED was extremely helpful in his training of our maltipoo who was biting at mom. She learned corrective behavior plus additional techniques. Of course we learned alot. The Dog Boss (Ed) is very professional, listened to our needs and thoroughly evaluated both dogs so we could implement his training! Our dogs are on there way to being obedient fur babies with only 2 sessions! It’s also nice to know that he is only a phone call away if we have any issues! We called Ed the dog boss, explained all of our issues and concerns and he worked out a plan for us when he came to visit. The home visits were great, he gave us great tips for leash training, jumping issues and touched on many of our other concerns. After the first visit we saw an immediate change in our puppy and in the way we handled behavioral issues. We love that Ed’s available to us by phone with any other issues that may pop up.
