Certified as a Professional Dog Trainer certifications; Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) which focuses on marker training for teaching basic behaviors, Family Dog Mediator (FDM), which uses the L.E.G.S. model (Learning, Environment, Genes, and Self) to understand dog behavior from an ethological perspective and completion of the Aggression in Dogs Master course and workshops instructed by Michael Shikashio to understand how to effectively and humanely modify aggressive, reactive and problem behaviors.

John has been working with our 5 month Golden Retriever puppy since he was 8 weeks old and we couldn’t be happier. John is calm, patient and experienced with his approach. He also ensures a personal experience each visit based on our puppy’s needs and progress. Frankie is fully house trained, crate trained and is such a good boy. We owe that to John and his work!

We are looking forward to enjoying the improved behavior and will definitely return for more help when we need it. John is a dog loving trainer. He is very thoughtful on his approach with training. We worked on sit, touch, leave it, heel, go find it, ringing the bell to go out, and drop it. He also gave a great perspective on how a dog thinks and feels. Most of all, my dog Pickles love working with John.
