The Dog Knowledge

I found out about TDK by word-of-mouth. I was walking my Bernedoodle puppy around the neighborhood, and as I ran into other dog owners, I was amazed at how many of them had used TDK, and everyone raved about their experience. I had read several dog training books before our puppy came home, tried to do some training on my own, and used another trainer to counsel us---all of which helped get our puppy started with a foundation. But, I don't think I ever could have gotten our puppy to the level of obedience and focus that TDK achieved through their 4 week program. I dropped him off as an incredibly energetic but unruly puppy that was hard to control and was subject to the "zoomies." He returned to me, still energetic and fun, but focused and obedient. My dog is now such a good citizen, both in and outside the home. As a parent, I have work to do to sustain the great work of TDK. But all the stress I felt as a dog parent is gone! I could not be happier with the experience at TDK and would highly recommend them! They are great folks!

My experience with Dog Knowledge has been nothing short of exceptional! I enrolled my pug in their training program, and the results have been great.The trainers at Dog Knowledge are highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about what they do. What impressed me the most was their positive reinforcement approach. After completing the training program, I noticed a significant improvement in my pug's behavior. She's now more obedient, confident, and well-behaved.

I'm a little late, but definitely wanted to be sure that all props were given where due! I decided to board my dog here for training after a neighbor's recommendation. Initially, I was hesitant due to the cost, however, after much debate, I realized that you typically get what you pay for, so decided to give it a try. For starters, I horribly planned to do this while getting ready for a 2 week international trip, but Dennis/Mary and the team had no problem accepting us in an already full class at the last minute. While on my trip, I received consistent updates in terms of training progression as well as photo updates via email and Instagram. There was a REALLY great information and demonstration graduation "ceremony" at the end with nice goodies to take home, and I'm happy that this ended up being one of THE BEST DECISIONS that could've been made for my furbaby and family!
