The Dog School Of New Orleans

The Dog school was an amazing experience! I called Brooke at the last minute with extreme urgency about my Doberman because I added a mini poodle to my home and things were getting crazy! She instantly created a space for me the next week! My dog was with Brooke for 5 days, I picked him up today and he’s been a pleasure to be around very calm and obedient. I’m definitely going to send him again for maintenance.

We just welcomed our first dog and first GSD to our family. I knew going into to this that our dog would be a high intensity dog. But I wanted a dog and specifically a GSD to protect us should the situation ever arise. But not having a dog in over 30 years came with some challenges when it came to training. I researched several trainers in the area and even considered bringing him back to the breeder that we purchased him from for training. But I found Brooke and Victoria with The Dog School. After reading the other reviews, I felt comfortable that they could handle a high intensity dog like mine. And I was right! After our GSD spent 6 days with them, he came home a totally different dog. I was so impressed with how well behaved and trained he was. I really couldn’t believe it! Before, I couldn’t even enjoy a walk with him. I also couldn’t get him to stop jumping on me and others. And for the life of me I couldn’t get him to come when I called him. But Brooke and Victoria know what they are doing. And I am so glad that I did my research and picked them over so many other trainers I could have gone with. Thank you ladies! And Wyatt can’t wait to spend time with you again for daycare when you get into your new location!

100% recommend to anyone who is wanting their fur babies to have some training. they treated my Sadie just as she was their own. They even came back out to the house to do a refresher with me on how to redirect Sadie. I got picture updates during the whole process and my Sadie loved it! Sadie came home a new dog. You can truly see the difference in her listening. She now follows commands. Gave us a hug peace of mind. Since her return home from the training I had an incident where she got out of the gate and was by the busy road. I gave her command to come and she came right away! Blessed that she was able to get this training and I was able to keep her away from the dangerous road we live by! Before she would have ran off right into the road.

Such an amazing experience, my expectations were exceeded!! I am so skeptical with dropping my dogs off anywhere. I don’t leave my dogs with just anyone. However, after the first phone call with Brooke I felt my year old chocolate lab, Huey, was in wonderful hands. Huey came back as my same goofy chocolate lab, but with so much more confidence, reduced reactiveness, and 100x more obedient. I am so pleased with everything. She answered every question I had quickly, sent multiple pictures and videos throughout the entire 11 day stay. I didn’t think Huey could learn and change that quickly, but he did. He’s social, we can walk him on a leash without him pulling, he’s not a bully to other dogs, he’s more reliable with his commands, his demeanor is calmer. I am beyond pleased. I can’t recommend Brooke enough!!
