The Dog Trainer

My wife and I are very happy with the training Chris did for our 10-month-old Bernie. Boone is a very large headstrong dog and we were a bit concerned how well training would go for him! Boone came home a new dog! Walks with him are now a pleasure. He follows all commands now and now listens to all family members. We have owned many dogs and have had interaction with many dog trainers over the years. Chris is hand down the best we have met!! As soon as you talk with Chris you can see he is a dog guy, very professional, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate about dogs. He trains the owners as much as the dog. We highly recommend Chris. Chris is a great guy, you can tell he has a heart for this. He took our dog (Creed) in with open arms. Creed had issues with aggression towards our other dog, and severe anxiety. Chris told us nothing is promised but he will do his best with creed, and we that showed. We got creed back and he was still his rambunctious self, but when it was time to listen creed tightened up and was hyper focused on his commands. No complaints whatsoever. Chris communicates multiple times weekly to give you updates, and is willing to keep your dog an extra week to ensure the training sticks before your dog comes home. 10/10 recommend!

Words cannot explain how thankful my family and I am now that our 5 month old Aussie, Bandit, is obedient and disciplined, yet still just as loving and energetic as before training. I have received so many compliments on his behavior and training with Chris has by far been the best investment I have made in securing a happy and healthy lifestyle for Bandit (and also for my own sanity!). If I could, I would give Chris 20 stars! Look no farther, Chris is who you not only want to train your dog, but NEED to train your dog. Thanks so much again, Chris! Chris trained our two 18-month-old Irish setters. Wow… what a transformation! When Chris brought them home, they were the same sweet boys but with manners. No more jumping, they leash walk without pulling, and they follow all commands. Chris even went the extra mile for my husband who has a speech disability. He incorporated hand signals and a few sounds for all of the spoken commands. The come-home session was invaluable in teaching us how to follow through. We highly recommend Chris DeBoard.

Our standard poodle, Chloe was out of control at 4 months and continued to get worse. She was very loving, but couldn't be still long enough to learn many commands, let alone walk on a leash. Chris took her at 6 months for 2 weeks. When he delivered her home, we were not sure it was Chloe. He trained US for over an hour. She was a dream come true and still amazes us. We can't express how thankful we are to have found Chris. We highly recommend him! ❤
