We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. Clients often tell us the biggest change is confidence, finally understanding how to communicate with their dog in real-world settings like home, walks, and public places.

We can't say enough great things about Kayla at The Dog Wizard! Our one-year-old deaf, recent rescue, Milo, completed the 14-day Jumpstart Program, and we are so thankful for everything she did to help him—and us.
Before training, we struggled to communicate with Milo and often felt helpless. As a deaf rescue with a challenging background, we weren't sure how to effectively teach him or build a strong bond. Kayla was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and understanding throughout the entire process.
The program made a huge difference in Milo's obedience, socialization, and our ability to communicate with him. More importantly, Kayla gave us the tools, knowledge, and confidence to continue building on the foundation she created. We now have a much better understanding of how to work with Milo and help him continue to succeed.

Our trainer David did a great job bonding with our dog Chewy and helping him overcome his extreme flight response and fear. David has been wonderful about following up with us and giving us continued guidance on working through Chewy's issues

My doodle Ziggy and my family have had the best training and boarding experiences with The Dog Wizard and trainer Pam. Ziggy has improved his behavior and listening along with learning new skills. But best of all is the community and care that we have seen and experienced! There is no better place to trust for your fur child for training and boarding! Highly recommended!!!
