We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. Clients often tell us the biggest change is confidence, finally understanding how to communicate with their dog in real-world settings like home, walks, and public places.

We just completed the 8-week “New Start” training program with David at Cincinnati Dog Wizard, and the results have been incredible! Our 9 month old German Shepherd, Ghost, graduated today, and the difference in his behavior is night and day.!When we started, we were struggling with typical puppy issues like biting, mouthing, jumping, and lack of impulse control, especially around kids. Over the course of the program, David helped Ghost learn how to play appropriately, stay calm, and disengage when he gets too excited. His obedience has improved so much as well, he now reliably responds to commands like sit, down, place, leave it, and come. Walks are great now due to his improved leash manners and his calm greetings have made a huge difference when meeting people! David was patient, knowledgeable, and great at explaining how to continue reinforcing everything at home. We’re so grateful for the progress Ghost has made and would highly recommend Cincinnati Dog Wizard to anyone looking for real, lasting results with their dog!

My 1st experience with dog wizard, and trainer, pam, was so fabulous, that I decided to send my older dog for training, a year later! My 4yo red fox lab is smart and wants to please, but has a hard time learning to calm her mind and refused to "down". I got frustrated easily. After 2 weeks of board and train w/pam and Kayla, she now listens, understands and utilizes "place", down AND, I don't get frustrated w/her as she listens AND obeys! I would HIGHLY recommend dog wizard, especially pam and kalyla..they know their stuff and equip me well, to better understand and enjoy my dogs!
Alex was great working with Charlie and I. He is very patient and explains everything. I felt comfortable leaving my fur baby in his hands. When he says call or text anytime he really means it.

I highly recommend the dog wizard for any dog with socialization issues, having access to their facility and other dogs to work on socializing!
