We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. Clients often tell us the biggest change is confidence, finally understanding how to communicate with their dog in real-world settings like home, walks, and public places.

We had a great experience with The Dog Wizard! We sent our one-year-old rescue lab mix, Juice, to their 14-day Jumpstart program, and the results have been wonderful.
Juice struggled mostly with confidence and nervousness, and we’ve seen such a positive change in him since completing the program. He seems much more at ease, more content, and overall just happier in his day-to-day life. (And as a bonus, he’s stopped driving me crazy at home—kidding… kind of!)
Our trainer, David, was fantastic. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. It was obvious he truly cared about helping Juice succeed and making sure we felt confident continuing his training at home.
We would absolutely recommend The Dog Wizard, and especially David, to anyone looking for professional, effective dog training. Such a great experience all around!

Can I say I never been so impressed by someone who is training my dog Rosie because I’ve tried other places and nothing compares to dog wizard. Since it is kind of far away, I did go there for the first meeting and then David came to my house and then I went there. The two last times David came, and Pam came for the last visit. They worked with me to make sure I understood everything. They kept in touch with me by texting photos and videos. They took Rosie to the park, Home Depot, target and pet store to work on her training. They made sure I understood everything and asked me what I would want to work on with Rosie. David’s even coming in the end of this week and the training is over. Also, it seems like Rosie listens better and is more calm with the help of treats lol. I really want to thank dog wizard because I would never have accomplished this by myself

We used the Dog Wizard with Pam as our trainer, and had a wonderful experience! Our dog, Birdie, learned skills that have made all our lives much easier- leash walking, stay with distractions, place, meeting people with jumping, etc. We were also trained on how to continue the skills with confidence and consistency. Highly recommend Dog Wizard!!

We are very happy Dog Wizard and our trainer Alex, he was amazing and showed so much patience with Sofe and me.Sofe being a golden doodle highly high strung,uncontrollable is now is livable and pleasant to be around.She walks on a leash perfect, can’t believe the change,we can now enjoy our dog.
