We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. Clients often tell us the biggest change is confidence, finally understanding how to communicate with their dog in real-world settings like home, walks, and public places.

We can’t say enough good things about the dog wizard and David! We’re so incredibly happy with the progress our dog, Duke made during his training. From the beginning, David was patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand Duke as an individual rather than just treating him like any other dog.
Duke is a BIG dog with a big personality, and we had been struggling with several behaviors that were becoming really difficult to manage at home. David gave us the tools and confidence to better communicate with Duke, and the difference we’ve seen in him has been amazing.
We are so grateful for the work David put into Duke and would absolutely recommend him + the dog wizard to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares about the dogs he works with. Thank you for helping us bring out the best in Duke! ❤️

David was great. Very clear with instructions and an explanation to help you understand the whys and the why nots. I think Elliott (my dog) was actually sad to see David leave, I could tell Elliott liked David as well. Great job and would 100 % refer to The Dog Wizard and especially David.

Amos was unruly and hard for me to handle. Amanda worked with Amos and taught him how to behave. She took him to parks and stores and helped him socialize with other dogs and people. She is so amazing. I would recommend Amanda and Dog Wizard Cincinnati.
