The Dog Wizard Cincinnati

David was awesome with my soon to be 2yr old male husky GSD mix. We went in for the 2 week board and train, mainly basics as trying to train him at home was almost impossible due to his husky attention issues and puppy energy. David laid down a solid ground level of his basic commands perfectly. Making it easy for me to build on it at home, plus teaching him confidence when it comes to climbing up and onto higher things which makes it a lot easier to get him in my tall car and while out and about for extra walking activities. Will def take my next puppy to them for basics and take Kyo back when I believe he is ready for more advanced training down the line.

Can’t say enough good things about David at Cincinnati dog wizard. I brought my two year old Staffy,, Henry, in for two weeks of day training. He was unpredictable, anxious, aggressive with other dogs. I have had dogs all my life and never needed a dog trainer. But I did with Henry! We got lucky with David. He was a great fit for Henry. Soon he was speaking Henry’s language AND training me. Turns out I needed as much training as Henry! David has given us a great foundation in two weeks. Henry is calmer, so it’s easier for me to work with him. He knows what is expected of him and now I know my very significant part in reinforcing his training every day. It was hard to drop him off each day because he has such anxiety but reassuring to see that even though he was shaking at drop off, when David came through the door, he still gave him a full body wiggle and tail wag. I knew he was in good hands. Five stars for David from the Wilson’s! We appreciate the help so much David!

David did a fantastic job training my rescue dog, Lacey! From the very beginning, he took the time to listen to my concerns and understand my goals for her training. Within just a few days, I noticed a remarkable difference in Lacey's behavior. David helped her build confidence, develop discipline through simple commands, and become much more comfortable socializing with other dogs. His training methods were effective, easy to follow, and tailored to Lacey's needs. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and caring dog trainer. I'm so grateful for the positive impact he's had on Lacey and our lives! I also want to add that the entire staff at Dog Wizard was friendly and professional!
