We’re the Dog Wizard team in Atlanta, helping local dog owners create real, lasting behavior change with their dogs. With over 13 years of experience serving the Atlanta area, we’ve worked hands-on with puppies and adult dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and focus around everyday distractions. I see many photos but I don't see all dogs types ? My dog has traits of the notorious "bully breed". I hate that word and what the world has come to...I hate having to ask this question. Do you have a problem with "bully breeds"? Can they attend ?

They train all breeds - and are good at this. I turned to TDW after Obedience Class really didn’t help us with the issues I a 2 year old large rescue dog. Our trainer, Kat Karkish, helped us with Jacks behavior, the walk, and anxiety with strangers from Day 1. They teach us as well as our dog!

Anthony was wonderful in explaining things and making sure I had pictures and videos of Soco while she was away training. Confident doggie = happy home! Thanks again Rob Bullard, our trainer extraordinaire for your professionalism and insight. We highly recommend Rob for your dog training needs. Toad, our pup, can now walk without pulling on his leash, he goes to his place, his crate, and stopped being so "mouthy" with our 6 year old (no more tears!).

Incredible results for obedience training with my 7mo. old, very high-energy boxer (2 week boarding program / living with trainer) - very glad that I used Atlanta Dog Wizard and well worth the price. Anthony was my dog's trainer, and he did a wonderful job across the board but especially with 'leash walking' improvement. And, he did a great job of training me how to continue helping my dog maintain and improve going forwards.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I recently moved from a house with a large yard to an apartment with a roommate who has a cat, and to say things were tense would be an understatement. My 2-year-old Pit mix, Rigby, is an extremely loving dog, but also extremely hyperactive. He's very chill and relaxed and obedient around me, but the second anyone else was around, he seemed to never be able to calm down and wouldn't listen to any command. Moving to an apartment also meant we had to go for walks on a leash as opposed to getting exercise in the yard, and he was a horrible puller. As he's 60 pounds of pure muscle, walks were absolutely miserable. I knew he was capable of being obedient, but I felt so ill-equipped to begin training such a high energy dog. After just a few weeks of training, both myself and my roommate saw significant changes in his confidence and obedience with distractions. The biggest game changer was the "heel" command, which Rigby picked up on almost immediately, making walks so much more enjoyable for both of us! We also began working on how to introduce him to my roommates cat using a ton of impulse control commands, putting everyone more at ease with his reactivity and excitement. Rigby is a thousand times more confident, calm, and listens to me throughout many different high-stress environments. I can tell we still have a bit more to go, as training really is a lifetime challenge, but I now feel assured that I can continue down this path and give Rigby the life and freedom he deserves. Lastly, I cannot express enough how amazing James was. He didn't shy away from the main challenge we were facing (coexisting with my roommate's cat), and immediately loved Rigby like he was his own. James was endlessly patient, SO sweet, and more than anything else, made me feel like there was hope for getting Rigby to a place where he can enjoy his life the way all dogs should. I can't thank him & the entire Dog Wizard team enough!! If you're thinking about investing in this program, do it. It is a lifetime commitment but is worth it a hundred times over.

Truly the best money we could have spent to help our dog. Our trainer Rob was fantastic and clearly explained each of the training steps and made necessary adjustments to accommodate our dog's more anxious nature. Beyond grateful for Rob and the Atlanta Dog Wizard's program.
