Edit after seeing this sorry response: Your response just proves my point. I did confirm twice over the phone, and I did complete your questionnaire. The fact that you “have no record” of either is exactly why I called your business disorganized and untrustworthy. Hiding behind “we do hundreds of evaluations” doesn’t excuse your lack of professionalism. It only highlights that you can’t manage your own systems. And trying to dismiss the issue by saying “it was a free evaluation” is insulting. My time is not free. I rearranged my day for this appointment, only to be locked out and then blamed for your mistake. Your reply is nothing more than an excuse, and it shows exactly why people should take their business elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. The Dog Wizard is an absolute joke of a business. I had a 9 AM appointment that I confirmed TWICE over the phone—once after scheduling and again the day before. When I showed up, the door was locked. After wasting my morning trying to get ahold of them, I finally reached someone who had the nerve to tell me my appointment was canceled because I “didn’t confirm.” Excuse me?? I literally DID confirm—twice. Not only that, but I filled out their forms, which they then tried to blame me for not doing. This company has no respect for people’s time. I had to rearrange my entire schedule and even interrupted my work day to make this appointment, only to be treated like it was my fault that THEY can’t keep track of their own scheduling. Completely unprofessional, completely disorganized, and clearly not trustworthy. If this is how they handle something as simple as an appointment, I’d never trust them with my dog. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. They wasted my time, messed up my day, and then had the audacity to blame me for their incompetence.
