The dog wizard is fantastic. I have a very reactive pittie mix that I signed up for the board and train program. When he came home, I knew we still had a lot of work to do, and my dog was still showing some reactive and over-protective. However, the Dog Wizard made it right by offering additional supports, and making me feel like they truly care about me and my family. I'd like to say that after two months now, I was able to have a guest in my house with very little drama from the dog. I know we are on the right path, and I know the staff and trainers will stand behind me if I need help. Patrick, the trainer is fantastic, and makes the approaches that are taught easily understandable for us. Thank you guys again

Liz was fantastic. She was professional, patient, and really took the time to understand her reactivity issues. The daily updates with photos and videos were great and kept us informed throughout the program. When our dog was brought home, Liz did a thorough handoff session, clearly showing us everything she learned and coaching us on how to continue the training at home.
We’ve already seen noticeable improvements in her focus, impulse control, and overall calmness. Liz also recommended some great resources that align well with their training philosophy, which we really appreciated.
If you have a reactive or challenging dog and want real results with strong owner support, I highly recommend Dog Wizard Fort Myer, especially working with Liz. She clearly cares about the dogs and truly wants owners to succeed long-term.

I went to dog wizard for a free consultation thinking my 6 month French bulldog needed help settling down and not jumping on new people. I ended up learning sooo much more and my puppy came back after 2 weeks with all the tools for success. Although a lot of training is consistency, my dog had learned to self soothe and this was huge. Patrick was our trainer and he has such a calm presence - definitely was a good influence on my stubborn Frenchie. He was invested and ensured I knew what I was doing as well. I highly recommend this company, it’s nation wide and I’ve had a great experience with this fort Myers location.

Liz at the Dog Wizard did an amazing job with our dog Kylo. He struggled with resource guarding, but after just two weeks with Liz, he came home calmer, more confident, and truly a nice gentleman. Kylo is a much happier member of our family now.
