Krissy and The Dog Wizard are truly the best in the business! Our nine-month-old puggle, Baxter (who is definitely more beagle!), was a good, happy dog with a TON of energy, but he had some behaviors we simply weren’t able to correct on our own—separation anxiety, especially with me (aka Mommy), nipping, nonstop barking, chewing everything in his path, and generally being difficult to manage. From the very beginning, Krissy was amazing. She kept us informed about Baxter’s progress, gave us tips and support before, during, and after his training, and made us feel completely comfortable having him in her care. Baxter came home the same happy, lovable dog we sent away—but now he is well-behaved, confident and understands clear commands. Before his homecoming, Krissy worked with us so WE understood those commands, too, and knew how to continue reinforcing everything he had learned. What surprised us most was how much we learned. Krissy taught us how dogs think, the importance of both physical and mental exercise, how to figure out what motivates each dog, how to reward good behavior, and—most importantly—how to truly communicate with our four-legged family members. We’re even using what we learned with our five-year-old puggle, Bella. I cannot recommend Krissy and The Dog Wizard highly enough. If you’re wondering whether the investment is worth it, it absolutely is. You aren't just getting a better-behaved dog—you’re learning how to be a better dog family for years to come. We would trust Krissy with Baxter again in a heartbeat. Five stars from Baxter, Bella, Mommy and Daddy! 🐾❤️
