No, a dog can be trained at any age as long as your willing to put the time in needed to work with them.

From start to finish, a very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly operation with a great facility, trainers, and various training programs to choose from. We chose Puppy Preschool for our mini bernedoodle, Rocky. Group puppy training classes were led by either Marcus or Sammy, both great dog trainers. The classes were an hour long on Saturday afternoons and never had more than 6 dogs in the class, usually 4-5. The tips and techniques they provide you with and their communication and teaching style is very natural and easy to understand. Rocky learned a lot in the two months he attend the training sessions, but still has some work to do. My family has learned so much that we’re confident we can continue working with our pup to address the few issues he needs to improve. Dog Wizard also has a free help line and weekly group meet ups at local parks to continue to socialize your dog and to work on any issues we may have. I highly recommend the Fort Collins Dog Wizard. As a first-time pet owner, I needed a lot of help with raising my beautiful, stubborn, high-energy bulldog. The commands I learned from The Dog Wizard have been incredibly useful. Creating structure and setting healthy boundaries made both of us much happier. The staff is fantastic and they build a community for clients that lasts far beyond the classes themselves.

I ended up doing private lessons with Sammy and I can't believe the change that occurred with Diesel in a short amount of time. She is absolutely amazing, very caring, and knowledgeable. She gave Diesel and I all the tools necessary to be successful (including confidence). All the trainers I encountered there are top notch and they care so much!
