Here we partner on the dogs training. We'll pick up and train your dog during the day and return your dog in the evening and report the results, and give the owner 'homework' instruction for the next couple days. We pick up the dog after the couple days again and add to the training, then repeat the steps throughout a 5 or 10 day program. After the training for one full year if your experiencing difficulty on something that was worked on with your dog we will come out free of charge to help correct it again.

I am so thankful I finally took the leap and sent Luna to the Dog Wizard Medina (“DW”). Prior to sending Luna to training, she was very reactive to new dogs and people and terrified in new environments. DW recognized this was all out of a place of fear and had no concerns that they couldn’t help. Dropping Luna off was so difficult but Steve and Bobby continued to provide me with updates which helped me cope and reassure me in my decision as I began to see Luna’s progress. Through these updates, I saw my very anxious/scared pup begin confidently playing with dogs, visiting public places and approaching new people. These are all things Luna NEVER would’ve done before. The two pictures I attached are her first day (tail tucked between her legs) vs her last days where her tail is out after Steve took her out in the town, it’s like night and day!! While enhancing her commands was important to me, building her confidence and relieving her stress/anxiety was my top priority and DW did not disappoint. When I picked up Luna, we spent some time discussing her progress and what I can do to continue this but Steve and Bobby also reached out the following day to check in on our transition home. I am so thankful for their help and continued support. As they reminded me throughout and after training, “we’re all Team Luna” and their actions spoke even louder than that statement. I’d recommend DW to anyone that has any concerns with their pup, this team knows what’re they’re doing.

The dog wizard is a top notch business. We worked with them on a five session training program for our German Shepherd Puppy, Jax, to get him some introductory training. It was much more than introductory as they completely changed the way I looked at dog training. They supplied us with the tools and techniques to set my pup up for success. I highly recommend the 5 session training course for people who would like to be more directly involved in learning how to train and build a better relationship with their dog.
As a 1 year old German Shepherd we enrolled Jax into a two week board and train to solidify his commands and get better suited to be off leash. They did Just that and more. They really improved his dog reactivity and completely melted away any anxiety/nervousness he had. His confidence is much improved and we are so excited to see how much happier of a dog he is. I will always have any future dogs of mine go through this program.
The only constructive feedback I have is to enhance customer correspondence during board and train and overnight stays. Give direct updates on training. Short, daily training updates would go a long way.
Overall I absolutely recommend the dog wizard to train your dog. The owners and trainer Bobby are great people and run a fantastic business.

Trainers Bobby and the staff at The Dog Wizard surpassed our expectations! Our German Shepherd Gunner was full of anxiety that we just did not have the knowledge to help. He was constantly pacing & barking all day anxious of anyone that walked past our house or who dare to enter! We were unable to have children over to play with our daughter because we just didn’t trust his reaction around kids. He was impossible to walk and dragged us down the street! I will be completely honest when I say I didn’t really know if there was any hope for us. Well, let me tell you since training at The Dog Wizard things have changed drastically! He is so well behaved, loves to work in his commands & loves to walk during the day! (a walk that I can actually enjoy as well!!!) We are so grateful to The Dog Wizard for helping Gunner and our family!!! Attached is Gunner working on his place command! Even the cat is interested 😝

Our German shepherd Emmett had trainer Barb. She was so professional and patient we feel like he learned so much. We had attended puppy school somewhere else and attended a training class at yet another facility and nothing compared to Dog Wizard! I wish I would have known and saved my money and time by seeking out professionals who understood my dogs needs.
