Our Doggie Daycare is a structured program designed for dogs who have completed one of our training programs and have been approved as daycare ready. This allows us to maintain a safe, controlled environment where all dogs understand expectations and communicate appropriately. Unlike traditional run all day daycares, we focus on balance. Dogs participate in structured social sessions throughout the day, followed by scheduled rest periods to prevent overstimulation and reinforce calm behavior. Daycare runs from 6:30am to 7:00pm, Monday-Friday. Drop-off times are between 6:30am9:30am, and pick-up times are between 4:30pm7:00pm. At this time, we do not offer half days. We had such a great experience with The Dog Wizard of Westlake. Gabby really did an amazing job helping build a foundation with our dog (Pepper) during the 7 day board & train and we have noticed such a positive change in his commands and basic skills. We cannot recommend Westlake Dog Wizard enough! From the very first session, it was clear this wasn't just dog training—it was a life-changing transformation for both Molly and my mother. We were struggling with Molly’s leash reactivity and anxiety around other dogs. Walks were a nightmare, and we felt constantly stressed that our mother would be injured. We had tried other methods, but nothing seemed to stick. Bethany was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about canine behavior. They tailored their approach to our specific needs, using a combination of positive reinforcement and clear communication. They didn't just train our Molly; they taught my mom how to be a better, more confident leader. The detailed follow-up information after the board and train was invaluable for practice. The results were immediate and astounding. After the 14 day board and train, we saw a massive improvement in Molly's focus and calmness on walks. The once-anxious dog is now confident and can focus on mom even when other dogs are nearby. We are finally able to enjoy going out in public together. Bethany truly has a gift with dogs and people. Although my puppy Beni trained at the Medina location, we were incredibly fortunate to work with Gabby while she was assisting there. Gabby spent time with me after every session to explain the training exercises and make sure I felt confident practicing them at home. Her follow-up emails, videos, and guidance were so helpful. I especially loved the videos she posted on the private Facebook group so I could see Beni’s progress during the day. She also took us to real-world locations like Home Depot and Marshalls, which made such a positive impact on Beni’s confidence and ability to focus around distractions. Gabby is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to the dogs she works with and Beni absolutely adores her! I am so grateful for the time and care she put into his training. I highly recommend her to anyone considering The Dog Wizard.
