The Doghouse, LLC

The trainers did a very thorough assessment of my German Shepherd to determine what kind of training she will benefit from based on the behavior issues I was having with her. First was a meet and greet with the trainers that took several hours. They wanted to evaluate her further and asked me to bring her back on Monday and they wanted her to board with them for further evaluation for 24 hours. I made a decision to board her for 4 more days so she can become comfortable with all the staff that will be assisting in her training. I got updated daily and during those four days Maggie went from a skiddish/uncomfortable Dog of other humans to a dog that let the trainers leash her and go outside on command to play and do her business She is now prepared for her upcoming training for 3 weeks without me and I am 100% certain after seeing her social skills improve during boarding time that I have definitely made the right choice for Maggie's training and am Super excited for the both of us. Thanks Carrie, Joshua and the staff at The Doghouse for your skill, expertise and patience for having already made a difference in Maggie and the best is yet to come..🙋‍♀️🤗👍😊🐕🐕🐕

They wall the above. Pickles is a 1 1/2 year old Sheepadoddle.. OMG had no idea how to handle the engery & commands so she would listen. They went above and beyond my expectations. I received pictures & video’s. They were Very very professional and always answered my texts when I had questions. Within hours never made me feel like I was asking to many questions or lots of texts. This was the first time I ever had to leave Pickles. I cried like a baby they made me feel like it was OK. They took care of pickles like it it was their dog (baby). Pickles came home 3 weeks ago completely different dog. I can walk her without her pulling I can open the front door she doesn’t run out. I have learned so much from them& I thought I knew it all. I had to big no.. They have follow-up classes for the first three months. The best bonus if they do boarding only for the people that have gone through the training. The best of the best I think I needed more training then Pickles. We have adopted our first dog a few months ago and decided the doghouse was the place for her to receive some manners. she had her first overnight stay to get used to the people and the fact that we would come back and get her. she has one more overnight stay and then she will be there for her 3 weeks of training! We feel so much better after picking her up today and seeing how happy she is. The staff extremely kind and helpful and answered all of my questions. We stopped in after making an appointment to take a tour of the facilities and grounds The place is impeccably clean. Thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions about dog training and calming my nerves just as much as our new family member ;)

My GSD Duke went through the full service training program. I found him on the Howard Franklin bridge malnourished and covered in scabs. It was a miracle we were able to save him with the high speed traffic. He was a very scared and reactive dog. I have always just trained the dogs myself, but I needed help with him. I never believed a board and train would work so well, but I had tried classes, buying hourly training and none of it worked, I know it had to be intensive. I decided on the doghouse after hours spent meeting with different trainers for different programs. It was the pricier option, but it felt like they actually liked what they were doing and didn’t act scared around the now 100lb GSD. Sam did a great job. Duke is now very well behaved on and off leash and was a new dog after training. Plus they did a great job of teaching me and continue to help. The best is I also now know he is in great hands if I ever have to board him. I highly recommend this program for any dog!!! UPDATE: Here I am over 6 months later and I can not help but continue to sing The Doghouse's praises. My dog amazes me every day with his training. It is second nature (maybe first) to him. I feel like my dog and I are part of the Doghouse family as well. I recently went on a trip out of the country and have never felt so comfortable leaving my dog somewhere. I would happily pay two times the price of the Full Service Training to get where I am now. It drastically improved both of our lives. I feel truly blessed to have found Carrie, Jordan, Sam, Liz, and everyone there. Can I give 6 stars?
