Question on Google
What kind of experience do your trainers have? Are they certified?

Just like other professions, dog trainers specialize in different areas of training: i.e., Puppy Socialization, Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dogs, Agility, K9 Nose Work®, K9 Fitness, Reactive Dog, and others. When you train with us, you’ll receive instruction from some of the best educated and highest credentialed trainers in their areas of specialty. Is there an orientation class in person? We were wanting to see the facility before we commit to classes.

All of our orientation classes are currently being held remotely. However, we'd be happy to have you drop by our facility anytime we're open to give you a tour and answer any questions you have. Question on Google
How lo g is the agility training and what is the cost

Agility Fundamentals is the first class in the Agility series. This six-week class is geared toward the dog/handler team whose long-term goal is to compete, learn a new sport, or just have fun. This course covers equipment and team communication skills. As the handler's and dog's skills progress, they will be introduced to sequencing, polishing obstacle performance, building the dog's confidence and enthusiasm, and introducing the handler to basic course analysis skills. This is a foundation course and will require homework to ensure the dog's long-term success. The cost of this six-week class is: $249. The second class in the series is Agility Fundamentals II. This six-week class is geared to the dog/handler team that is continuing on from the Fundamentals level. This class costs: $249. You can also purchase the bundle for both classes at: $459.

Question on Google
What the cost

Generally classes start at about $30 an hour. But, you can buy packages and save money. The first two sets of puppy classes are purchased for each entire course. After that you get punch cards and can enroll in one week at a time. So, for example as we moved from the second course Surviving Adolescents to the more advanced classes, we only spent a week in each of the intermediate classes before we were able to start the canine good citizen classes. Since I didn't have spend weeks in classes my dog didn't need, I feel like we saved money. If all goes well we will complete the good citizen classes in 4 or 5 sessions. Thus saving time and money. I have been VERY happy with the training methods that are used and drive from east of Raytown. I am currently training my new pup with Laura and she trained my 13 year old pup when he was a baby and I have a lot of respect for her and her methods

The prices vary depending on the class. I believe all the prices are listed on the website

The best spot for dog training and dog sport classes! KJ has been amazing and super patient working with Gibson in puppy classes and some one-on-one sessions to understand and overcome some of his terrier tendencies. Gibby loves Nose Work class with Natalie and Tracy and Tot Spot Agility class with Grace and LeAnn. Genuinely a great safe atmosphere to learn and bond with your pup! 🐶 💙

This place is the greatest to get your training so that you can learn to train your fur babies! Grace, my instructor, is an absolute phenom!

We’ve been here twice over the last five years for training. This is excellent, guided, focused training from approachable and thoughtful instructors. Whether it was Tracy five years ago or KJ today, there’s a practicality and warmth that goes active the whole staff, and in every interaction. There’s a reason we came back, and a reason we will be returning.

We love the Dog Spot. We’ve taken puppy classes with 2 of our dogs and each time had great instructors. Our dogs got to socialize in a safe environment and also learn lots of helpful tips and manners. As our dogs grew, we decided that we wanted to try private lessons because with multiple dogs, they were hard to manage at home and struggled with things like recall, jumping on guests when they entered our home, and resource guarding. The Dog Spot hooked us up with Karen - who has made our lives so much more peaceful. Karen has taught both us and our dogs so many great things. People can now enter our home without being assaulted, our dogs’ anxiety is reduced, they listen better, and we have a bag full of tricks to help keep their minds occupied. We have learned a lot about dog behavior from Karen and it’s made us better dog parents. I highly recommend!
