The Educated Dog

Based on a recommendation, we had Aaron Stewart come out to help with our 3 dogs and I'm so happy we found him! We adopted Angel a few months ago and she was very loving to us but aggressive with strangers. Within a few minutes, Aaron observed that Angel was not aggressive but fearful (and that our actions were contributing to the fear). He was very patient in explaining how we can help Angel (and our other dogs) and gave us actionable notes and we practiced multiple times. Aaron helped us with so many things (from walking in a structured way to avoid chaos, to advice on clipping our dogs' nails). We are already seeing a marked improvement and it's only been a few days! He was a wealth of information and I will be recommending him to anyone who needs help with dog (and their people) training!

Aaron has trained both my older dog (12 years ago) and our puppy (7 months). His methods were consistent and effective even after not seeing him for over a decade. He patiently worked with our children and us modeling how to correct and understand our dogs’ behaviors. He gave us helpful ideas and tools to implement the changes we discussed. Only a three hour session and our hyper, food driven puppy understood when we commanded he stay out of the kitchen. I’ve never seen him lay down just outside of a room and wait patiently while we eat. Highly recommend working with Aaron!
