Short version: Hire Deanne, especially if dealing with resource guarding. Longer version: Deanne was recommended to us by another rescue owner we met in the park. Our young dog was getting much worse about resource guarding and information we found online was not helping. We were getting scared it was never going to get better no matter what we did, but after working with Deanne it improved greatly within literally 2 weeks. Before training if we got near him while he was eating he would growl and sometimes lunge. After training, he wags as we approach him and allows us to grab his food bowl and add more kibble. While the training itself is pretty basic, it was key to have an expert like Deanne guide us through the process. In addition to helping resource guarding, Deanne also helped us clean up our training techniques and improve our relationship with our pup. She is a highly skilled trainer and relies on science backed techniques. We highly recommend her to any dog owner.
