The Educated Hound

We took our girl Halo to Jessie to get obedience training she was great, within hours of dropping her off Jessie had her following commands. I was totally surprised to see her obeying Jessie and not being her in her wild rambunctious self but following commands. Every day she sent updates my husband and I were impressed to see the changes in our girl. We plan to do follow-ups with Jessie to keep us and our girl on track. I highly recommend The Educated Hound to anyone and everyone they are an excellent team to train and trust your fur babies with.

I cannot recommend The Educated Hound enough. We got our German Shepherd during Covid and we were unable to socialize him as much as we'd like. He requires a special attention to detail and a particular type of training. Jessie has worked wonders with our boy's confidence, socialization and obedience. She trained our previous Shepherd before him as well. They have really amazing facilities for training and boarding, with a huge field for the dogs to play and work out. I honestly wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.

I would give her more than 5 stars if possible. Jessie is amazing! She initially trained my dog Sloan (pitbull, 5 yrs old at first meeting) while she was at Sit Means Sit. He has a lot of anxiety and she was the only one that could manage him. They actually refused to see him unless she was there. He was very wild and seemed aggressive when he was younger but she determined his behavior was fear based. She was wonderful in training me as well as Sloan. At first he could not be anywhere near big dogs. I remembered she sent me a picture within the first day of him sitting calm next to her dog Beasy and I almost cried. I never thought I'd see that. Soon after, I decided to add another dog to our family. I took Sloan to meet a dog at Douglas County Animal Shelter. In my opinion he was fine but he let out one loud bark and they basically kicked us out saying he was too aggressive. I found another pitbull I wanted to adopt from a rescue, Lilly. For safety, I asked Jessie for her opinion and she came to my house to make sure they were introduced properly. They have loved each other ever since! Sloan is almost 11 years old now and Jessie is still the only person I trust him with. I cannot recommend Jessie enough!
