The Existential Canine

We had such a great experience! Justin is knowledgeable and worked so well with Bailey. He was able to brush up on her obedience and give her the structure she needed to thrive. Also, prior to working with Justin she would not allow us to even touch her paws or tail so grooming was a nightmare; now it doesn’t bother her a bit. He’s been quick to answer questions and offer solutions since she’s been back home, and her transition has been very smooth.

I wanna start off by saying Justin is a miracle worker. We got a shelter dog in March 2020 and a year and a half later he was fear reacting to everything. He was causing fights with other dogs and was having issues being trusted around members of the family. I signed up for Justin‘s board and train package and my dog spent 30 days with him. After 30 days my dog returned, transformed into a whole new dog. My dog is now calm, able to be around children, play fetch and so much more! Being a perfect family dog truly is the best part. All thanks to Justin. I cannot recommend him enough he has gone above and beyond every expectation we had and exceeded them. Without Justin we feared we would have to euthanize our dog. Now we don’t have that fear anymore, we have the confidence in knowing that our dog is the best dog we could ask for.

I have a ShihTzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix small dog named Bucky. He is 3 years old (I am 83!). He had had no training until Justin agreed to train him even though he is not a show dog, very small and had some pretty bad behavioral issues. He had never been away from me since he was 8 weeks old. He spent 18 days with Justin and we have been working together since that time. I think training me has been as important as training Bucky. I could not be more pleased with the results. Although he should have been trained years ago, he is well behaved, trained to sleep and eat in his kennel, walks with a leash, sits, stays in place and has learned everything quickly and much more. Justin has been a calming, caring trainer. He is professional at all times and it is obvious he cares about the dog. I highly recommend Justin and his training team. Bucky and I will have a much happier life together now.

This is (continues to be) a supremely professional and positive experience. Our dawg is three years old, never been trained. Justin came to our home, assessed the needs, gave lessons, we boarded the dog with him for over two weeks, and we continue with private lessons to enforce the learning. The following have been addressed the first month: sit, settling, “place/free,” kenneling at night (this is so huge, having slept in the bed and wandered freely his whole three years), leashing, boundaries at thresholds, desensitization (reduction completely of biting, growling), how to reward verbally. We continue to do lessons to learn hand signals, staying in place, off-leash time w supervision, come. First of all, at a point of stress, we reached out on social media to Justin and he responded immediately. He’s very accessible, reasonable, affordable, dependable, respectful of our dog and us. He’s been very faithful, comes on time, responds to texts, keeps his appointments and has achieved things and helped us to achieve things with our dog I didn’t think was possible for a stubborn dog. I highly recommend Justin. His work is superb, his manner is kind and even, he’s responsive to needs, he’s a fantastic professional. CKC
