The Fine Canine Dog Training & Boarding

We're first time dog owners and got an 8-week old Lab Retriever named Apollo. We had issues with the dog being too active around food, biting our hands and my sons' arms and legs, and not obeying any commands. We knew we needed professional help and interviewed a few trainers and checked references and Monica from Fine Canine rose above the rest. She was prompt in answering our phone calls, responsive on text messages, and offered a competitive (although not the lowest) rate. We turned over Apollo at 12 weeks for a 4-week boarded training course. She emphasized not using electrical collars on any dogs, and kept us updated on Apollo's progress as he learned proper behavior and more commands. After 28 days, she brought Apollo back – noticeably bigger, calmer, and more obedient. He's now able to sit calmly and wait for our command to start eating, follows us around instead of just wandering off, stay calmly inside the cage instead of barking all the time. Being a Lab Retriever he's still mouthy at times, but knows to stop biting when we order him to stop. Monica was also excellent after the dog was returned, and answered our questions via text and phone promptly and thoroughly. We're so happy we had Monica help us. Strongly recommended!!!

The Fine Canine Dog Training School was recommended to us by family members. Ace is the first dog my wife and I have ever owned and we were looking for help in making sure that Ace was trained appropriately because we did not feel confident to do it ourselves. Monica was fantastic with our new puppy Wrigley. She tackled potty training and basic obedience tricks and was extremely loving and caring to him. She even send videos of him so our kids could see what he was learning. When Monica brought Wrigley home she spent time reviewing all his new tricks with our kids and gave us great information to ensure continued success with puppy training. We would highly recommend Monica for all puppy and dog training needs. She is wonderful!

My two 2 year old beagles, Indie and Tana just spent 10 days at training boot camp and I am so happy with the results. I wasn't sure if my beagle buddies could learn to enjoy a walk in the park without pulling. Well, thanks to Monica, I can enjoy a walk around the park with them. Honestly I feel this was the best investment. Monica also worked on the routine commands sit, stay, especially stay with distractions. Thank you Monica.
