The Foundation For Service Dog Support

My dog was abused terribly at another service dog facility (Dog Trainer US), and ever since then I’ve been searching for the right place. After making over 50 phone calls and sending over 65 emails, I heard back from this place. They were quick to respond and replied with asking if I would like a free assessment on whether my dog could still be trained to be a medical service dog. I made an appointment and it showed up. I spent the next two hours with Jessica and learned so much about my dog as she assessed and tested him rigorously. Turns out that he is pretty badly abused but he’s willing to learn and Jessica believes that he can still be trained. I applied for the program and got accepted and even qualified for a financial scholarship! With just that one visit I feel a lot more secure and stable about this company than the previous one. I also appreciate how legitimate it is and that it takes the time with my dog. I will post another updated post and review about this company once we start training on November 5 and conclude 18 months from then. I really look forward to it. I don’t think I’ll be disappointed this time around

I reached out to FSDS when I needed a service dog. They helped me train my dog to become a certified service dog. They worked with us every week and it was always a great experience. Even when my pup graduated the program I was and still am able to get advice from FSDS when needed. They are truly amazing and I am forever grateful for this organization helping me to regain my freedom with my Service dog by my side!

Recently, we, 2 people, 3 dogs, same household, had the opportunity to gain training from two of the trainers at The Foundation for Service Dog Support. One of the dogs started with no previous training and was fear reactive to strangers and unknown dogs. Considering that he was 2 1/2 years old, I didn't know if anything would help. The trainers at FSDS were fantastic! They did the needed basic training and then dealt with the dogs individual needs. I have been training my own Service Dog, and the trainers were great at catching the tasks I did not know how to train. We will continue to get additional training as needed from this great organization.

The Foundation for Service Dog Support has truly been a blessing for me. This is an excellent organization with compassion for helping others. The master trainer Jessica is kind, funny and patient, with a passion for helping others learn how to train their service dog. I am very grateful for FSDS as they have helped with making my life better, by providing the skills needed for us to be successful as a team.
