FirstBarkAbbi’s class was a great! She gave us the tools to train our dogs to “chill”’in distracting situations. I got a lot out of the class and will continue to use all the methods I learned so I can be confident taking my dogs to public places.

Do you offer any guarantees for your training results?
I guarantee the work I do with the dog while we are training. I cannot guarantee results if training is not reinforced at home or if the dog does not complete their training. I offer ongoing support and maintenance to help owners after their initial training is complete (excursion sessions, private sessions, group classes, workshops, etc.)

In order for dog´s behavior to continue to be ¨good¨, maintenance training your dog is always recommended. Options for ongoing training is available for all clients once core training is complete.

How do you handle dogs that are difficult or uncooperative?
It depends on the dog. Sometimes muzzle conditioning is necessary for the safety of everyone involved in the training process. Regardless, patience is a must, and going at the dogs pace. But it should be understood, that some stress is healthy and necessary in dog training.
