We have had the pleasure of having Maynard with The Goode Dog train our dog since he was 1 years old and he is simply amazing. He was extremely patient and professional and gave me so many tools and exercises to deal with the issues I was having. His training methods are not only effective but easy to understand and apply. I’d like to share my experience with The Goode Dog, where the trainer, Maynard, has been outstanding. He is incredibly patient, truly loves dogs, and communicates exceptionally well with both pets and their owners. He’s always available and even comes to your home for initial training sessions. After a few weeks, once your dog is ready, he transitions them into group classes. These group sessions help dogs learn to be around other dogs, people, and different surroundings. Classes are held in parks, shopping centers, and occasionally hiking trails, giving your dog exposure to a variety of environments. It still amazes me how quickly a new, reactive dog can become a civilized member of his pack.

What an amazing experience it has been working with The Goode Dog! I have a 15 month old male Doberman puppy named Gunnar. He is so sweet, very smart and extremely stubborn. Gunner has made great progress in his obedience, especially with listening, focus and responding to commands even with distractions. The Goode Dog Program is so knowledgeable, loving and kind to my boy Gunner, and also very supportive and encouraging with me as well. We love The Goode Dog! Our puppy Dixie was chewing and destroying our house. I was constantly yelling for her to listen or stop bad behavior. Almost to the point where we thought we made a mistake in getting a new puppy. Luckily for us, The Goode Dog helped us understand our puppies behavior and offered options for training. We could not be more pleased with the change in Dixie! She is great on walks with no more game of tug of war! When taking her in public places we constantly get compliments on her behavior.
