The Happy Hound Behavior and Obedience

We love Sami! She has completely transformed our hyper, sweet, crazy pup. After years of struggling to walk my dog on a leash she was a completely different dog and by my side within one or two sessions. We worked on ecollar training in so many different environments in order to work on being off leash, going to patios at restaurants, being less reactive to dogs and more. She is so down to earth, helpful, and customized everything to your individual dog. I will be recommending her to everyone I know with a pup

Sami is amazing! We had adopted a two year old shepherd mix, about sixty pounds, sweet as could be, but untrained and terrible on a leash. Sami gave us the advice, tools, and techniques each week, adding and reinforcing lessons, that transformed our dog. This included sit, stay, come, place command (to go and stay in her bed), and general house-time obedience. And to our immense appreciation, Sami also helped us turn our terror-on-a-leash into a much calmer, heeling, and attentive walker with us. Night and day on walks, WOW! Our dog loved Sami, was thrilled every time we met up. And the whole experience was great not only for better behavior, but a lot of good bonding with our new dog. Super appreciative and strong recommendation.

The Happy Hound training has made our experience and life with our dogs so much more enjoyable. Sami our trainer worked so well with us and allowed us to express our concerns and fears. She first helped us with our Husky, Seven. He bit me 2x when attempting to take an item from him when he would not drop it. Training him was the next step; if it did not work we would’ve had no other option but to give him up. We are so grateful for Sami and the weeks she spent with Seven and us.
