Board your dog somewhere else! I’ve never had to pay $70 for ONE dog for ONE night of boarding!! I originally had a reservation for my dog at Parker Kennels who are very fairly priced ($25 for a big run that has it’s own fended in yard) but they are a little bit further of a drive for us so I found this kennel who is a lot closer. I called and spoke to a woman that didn’t know how to check the availability for boarding (red flag number one) and had to call me back after making calls of her own. I was pleased to be informed that they did have one spot left for the night for my puppy after telling the front desk lady we would have her there first thing Saturday morning and pick her up on Sunday, and that was the end of the conversation. I get there around 7:30am to drop my puppy off and the very young girl working the desk had nothing prepared paperwork wise to which I then had to fill out mine and my dogs information on a sheet of loose leaf notebook paper (second red flag). I get there at 4pm on Sunday to pick my dog up and another very young girl is working the counter. She tells me my bill is a whopping $70 and couldn’t tell me why, so she had to call someone else to find out why, and still could not explain to me why my bill was $70. Something about dropping off/picking up before/after 10am, which was never explained to me by anyone when making the reservation nor dropping her off. Highway robbery is an understatement, take your dog to Parker Kennels for $25 and you can pick your dog up any time of the day without being charged DOUBLE, and they tell you how much you’ll be paying for your reservation from the get go, no sneaky business!!
