Matt, The Hill Country Dog Trainer, did so much for our dog. She learned new skills and accomplished so many milestones in only a few weeks. We are thankful for the attentiveness and care of our dog during her stay. Our dog came out of this training as a better pup with skills including on leash walking, staying in place, and overall obedience. We could not be happier with our experience here!
We felt 100% comfortable taking Lacey to Matt. Matt has such a love for dogs and we knew Lacey would get great care as well as training. She is a great pup who needed some very consistent training from someone with a lot of patience! Matt sent great videos and updates and it was great to see her journey. We look forward to years ahead of a great relationship with Lacey!

I recently picked up my 1 year old Giant Schnauzer Zeus from Matt's 3 week board and train program and couldn't be happier with the results. Around the house Zeus went from being a menace, jumping on furniture and running into my kids to gentleman who just wants pets and snuggles. Outside of the house Zeus is attentive to me and we are developing a great relationship. Matt did an excellent job of explaining his training methods and really helped my wife and understand how to interact with Zeus to help train him to be the ideal go everywhere companion we wanted. I can't recommend Matt highly enough.
Matt did an amazing job with Monty! I loved the weekly update videos to keep an eye on Monty’s progress! Monty now behaves like the gentleman he appears to be! Thanks Matt!
