The Home Grown Dog

We recently dropped our 10 month-old doodle off for a 3 week training session with Emily. First let me say that it was HARD to imagine life without our Oakley for 3 weeks! But she is sweet and smart and was ready for more intensive training that I was able to provide at this time. I am well versed with how to train and use all the “tools”, so I knew I could do the maintenance. We knew after talking with Emily that she was the perfect choice for us. We have the same philosophy regarding what is good or bad for our pups. Emily is kind, consistent and loving. Our Oakley fell in love with her, and after seeing video updates and seeing her happy face I relaxed knowing she was in perfect hands. Emily’s goal is to help our pups - and owners - learn how to help them be the best they can be so we can enjoy our fur babies to the fullest! Oakley came home happy and confident and very well trained and we now have a new routine to continue the progress. Thank you Emily!

I worked with Emily in her now and later program. I came to know about her from an experienced trainer In another part of Florida who sang her praises. And oh my, that trainer sure was right! Emily was so easy to work with and truly wanted the best for both my dog and me. She was incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell she just had that instinct along with her knowledge to really maximize the training of my dog. She has my strongest recommendation!

Emily is so lovely to work with and she really understands dogs and what they need to live their best life. She is a great communicator and sends constant updates. My dog (who is anxious and shy with new people) loved Emily by the time her first week of training was done. I always felt she was in the best hands while she was there.
