If I could give Adam more than a 5 star review I would. I brought my 5 month old Belgian Malinios to him after researching many trainers. We did some longer training because of his breed and youth. Adam has not only trained my dog Otis, but rewired my training in so many ways. I had an older border collie, so mistakenly thought I could handle this other intelligent/high drive dog. Once I knew I was in over my head I sought help. He has changed my dynamic with both of my doggos. I had done other training with my Border Collie when he was young and it pales in comparison to what I have learned with Adam at Houndsman Canine Academy. He instills confidence and respect not just in your dog, but in yourself. Since our intensive training ended, he has given me two home visits to assist with any hiccups we might have had. When he comes over, even my Border Collie listens to him. He always tell me to call if I have any questions or issues. We are part of his "pack" now.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I signed up for the month long training session because I wanted Maverick fully submersed in the type of training that I wasn't sure how to do. Adam was patient, kind but firm and both Maverick (my pup) and I came away better for his training. I can't believe the difference in Maverick's overall relaxed confidence both in public and at home. He listens better, no longer pulls, knows basic commands and doesn't jump on guests or the furniture anymore. Adam not only worked with Maverick, he taught me a few tips and tricks and reminded me how I was supposed to act as Maverick's Empress. ;) Thank you very, very much Adam!! I am proud to be a pack member and will definitely recommend you and your services to all the pet owners I know!
