We are SO HAPPY we found Armando to help us with our two cockapoos. Our indulgent "parenting" style had led them to behaviors like uncontrollable barking, jumping on visitors, pulling and lunging on the leash, occasional aggressive overtures, and just not listening to or obeying our inept commands. When we took the dogs for our first interview with Armando, he was professional and direct, explaining that it if he agreed to train the dogs, we needed to be committed to changing our approach with them once they came home. He assured us he'd provide us with the tools and be available to support us whenever we needed help. We were impressed with his frankness and dropped our pups off in June for four weeks of board-and-train. We picked up the dogs last weekend and are absolutely delighted with the improvements in behavior we see in them: Walking calmly on the leash, sitting, staying, and accepting corrections readily. Now the work begins for us and, true to his word, Armando is available and active in his follow-up support. He spent almost two hours with us when we first picked them up, showing us how to walk, correct, and reward them and giving us "homework" as we start a new normal at home. He provided us with almost eight hours of well-structured and informative instructional videos where he not only demonstrates training techniques but also outlines the rationale and psychology behind effective dog training. Four days after we brought the dogs home, he came for a home visit, observing how we are continuing their training, providing suggestions and feedback, and reassuring us that we are doing well. One thing that impressed us was how happy the pups were to see him when he arrived, which was the most telling testimony to their respect for him. We know this will be a lifelong process, but what an amazing difference Armando has made already to our home life with these pups. If you're considering investing in Armando's services, DO NOT HESITATE. He provides not only the training your dog needs, but also the tools and resources and support to enable you to be the puppy parent you know you need to be. FINALLY, DO NOT HEED THE ONE STAR REVIEW FOR THIS COMPANY. IF YOU READ IT, YOU'LL SEE THE PERSON HAS NOT BROUGHT A DOG TO ARMANDO TO TRAIN, SHE'S JUST ASKING QUESTIONS. I can’t express how happy I am with Armando and Tyler. In just 3 weeks they have addressed every issue we needed help with and gave us the tools we needed to continue working with our girl. I would 100% recommend The Hyper Pup to anyone looking for training. The training service was a million out of ten and the customer service was outstanding. I felt that my girl was very well taken care of and loved while being away.

Armando, after I posted a review earlier I realized that I left out something very important. As a family who strongly supports our veterans, it felt especially meaningful to entrust Gandalf to someone who has served our country and now dedicates his time to helping families and their dogs.
