The Hyper Pup Dog Training

We brought our VERY high-energy and challenging 6 month Belgian Malinois to Armando and his team for a 4 week board and train. We were frustrated and concerned that we would never be able to manage her. Armando and his assistant, Tyler have given Gemma a structured environment and provided her and us with a great new start on the right path We all have new skills together with knowledge and a great ongoing support system. I can not speak highly enough about Armando and Tyler at Hyper Pup! My eight month old Bernedoodle puppy, Donut, is very smart but very challenging. He was a counter surfer who has an affinity for socks. I was constantly chasing him trying to get him from eating things he shouldn’t be. He picked up basic commands (sit, down, paw) but was inconsistent and EASILY distracted. He would pull terribly during walks and the minute he saw a person, dog, or a blowing leaf I knew the whip lash was coming! The bigger he got the more concerned I became for the inevitable shoulder dislocation. I decided I had enough after he had to have surgery for a blockage in his stomach. The surgeon found five socks! We needed help badly. I found The Hyper Pup and I could tell he was no BS. After our first conversation I was in. Donut completed a 4 week train and board and the difference is amazing. Armando made a few recommendations about where Donut sleeps, crate breaks, and toy access which have impacted home life significantly! Now don’t get me wrong we are still working with Donut and have already had a follow-up session. Armando & Tyler confirmed my suspicion of Donuts doggy ADHD. He will need continual reinforcement and work on my part to keep the behavior changes going. When we got home we were struggling with excitability out of the crate. One SOS text to Armando and he made a video for us to show us what to do to break the habit. Customer service is impeccable! You can see the genuine bond these men have with dogs when you see them at work. I look forward to working with my dog now instead of defeated. Thank you Hyper Pup!!

I can’t say enough good things about Armando and his incredible training at Hyperpup! Before we started with him, my dog was all over the place—she had little to no obedience, and walks were a struggle. Armando took the time to really understand our pup, her quirks, and the issues we were facing. His approach is kind and patient, but incredibly effective. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and that’s something that really sets him apart. Our girl is much more focused, calmer, and, best of all, she actually listens now! Armando’s methods are clear, easy to follow, and if we have questions he helps us out. We now have a dog that is a joy to walk, socialize, and live with. If we had another dog, we'd send him/her to Armando too.

We sent Josie to Armando for the four-week board and train program. When we dropped her off, she had a few basic commands down but wasn’t a reliable listener and struggled with leash walking. After completing the program, Josie came back with a whole new level of obedience and confidence. More importantly, we were taught how to maintain her progress and continue building on her skills at home. Armando is the real deal—an excellent communicator, deeply passionate about what he does, and truly knowledgeable. We highly recommend him!
