The Incredible K9

If you have been thinking about working with Kate, DO IT! I have been working with different trainers for about a year and a half, trying to use obedience to solve my dog's reactivity issues. Obedience training did nothing to help him become less reactive. Since working with Kate, he is starting to become more optimistic about his surroundings and less reactive while on walks and in the car. He is more relaxed and calm throughout the day and can handle things that caused him anxiety in the past such as strange noises, loud trucks, and screechy birds. He no longer lunges and barks if we see people on our walks. He also no longer jumps on my husband when he leaves the house. My dog is a sensitive fellow, and Kate's training methods have helped him to make the correct choices on his own, which has improved his confidence. Kate has also given me the tools and confidence to help us make even more progress. We have lots of work yet to do, but I was able to start seeing changes in him after a few weeks of training. I don't know what we would have done without Kate!

I absolutely LOVED working through Kate Walker's Incredible K9 program. I honestly didn't think that a video training would help me with my dogs, but it did! Why? Because Kate was there every step of the way. Throughout the training I had a ton of questions (and I mean a ton). Kate answered each and every one of the until I was completely satisfied. I felt like she was there every step of the way. I had a pretty big issue with one of my dogs while going through the program and I must say that I don't know if I could have gone through it without Kate's help and support. I highly recommend her work. You won't be disappointed!

Kate has been my single best discovery since I started TBTE training 6 months ago! Even though I'm located in Michigan, the help I've received online has been beyond my greatest expectations! I can ask a question, and the responses I get are so quick, thorough, and well thought out. I love the positive attitude and support, whether I'm having a successful day or one that's not so much.. I always walk away feeling better about things, and more confident going forward. My standard poodle was/is much in need of what Kate and the TBTE practice has to offer. Through following the system, he's learning to relax on his own, not be nearly as reactive over things in general, and able to take some things in stride that he couldn't manage before. Meeting up w/ someone on an ATV while we are out for a walk , he's able to greet the people and actually walk away afterwards (and not chase them like they're a deer!). It's pretty cool, and a lot less stressful on everyone involved. Yay! I'm much looking forward to continuing our journey, and having Kate's help is making things a lot more enjoyable and easier. :) We will never go back to our old ways of training.
